How is Rendering Done?
Your typical render consists of sand, cement and lime. Is it important to take extra care when choosing the type of sand you are using, ensure your sand is fine and impurity free. The other two typical ingredients of render are drying additives to enable the render to dry quickly and lastly a colour pigment is usually added depending on client preference. Here at MPC plastering we typically use a trowel to apply the majority of our rendering but our speciality tool kit includes various sponges, brushes and a hessian bag that can be used to add different textures.
